Tyra Banks is a successful supermodel-turned-businesswoman, but she has some wacky ideas when it comes to the topic of future beauty standards.

In a op-ed for the Wall Street Journal, Tyra joined the likes of Mark Zuckerberg and Taylor Swift in writing about the future of various industries, the 40-year-old's expertise being beauty.

Her musings start out normal enough: "As I look into the future, I see radical changes in both how people 'attain beauty' and how the world perceives beauty," she says. But then, her predictions get downright bizarre.

Read on to hear Tyra's thoughts on how beauty will evolve in the coming years.

  • "Plastic surgery will be as easy and quick as going to the drugstore for Tylenol": The model believes individuals will continually seek out "cutting-edge" implants to distinguish themselves from the masses.

  • "There will be no hair extensions": According to Tyra, scientists will have invented a universal hair-growing serum.

  • "[Female] empowerment will be an irrelevant concept because the balance of power between the sexes will have shifted dramatically": Sorry gentleman, but it looks like women are poised to rule the world! The brunette beauty also says men "will be responsible for 70 percent of cosmetics sales and plastic-surgery procedures world-wide" in an effort to impress "well-off ladies who can take care of them."

  • "The features of one’s baby will be as selectable as menu items at a fast-food drive-through window": While Tyra predicts women will be able to have children until they're 120 (yikes, though Michelle Duggar would be thrilled), blue and green eyes will reportedly become so common that dark brown will triumph as the newly desired color.

  • "Everyone will have at least one personal robot/assistant/companion": Not only will your robot suggest products for you to try but it also gives confidence boosts when you're feeling down. Where do we sign up?!

What do you think of Tyra's unusual predictions for the future? Sound off in the comments!
