Catherine Zeta-Jones Gives Husband Michael Douglas A Sweet Shout-Out On Their Joint Birthday
A-listers Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas are the definition of relationship goals! On Tuesday, Sept. 25, Catherine took to Instagram to share a cute video montage of her husband, Michael, on their 49th and 74th birthdays, respecrtively. (Yes, they have the same birthday!)
In the video, Catherine included a few clips of Michael dressed as President Andrew Shepherd from his 1995 film The American President and she accompanied the footage with Marilyn Monroe’s iconic song, “Happy Birthday, Mr. President.”

“Happy Birthday to my very own President! My husband, Michael. I guess that makes me First Lady! Stranger things have happened! Go figure ?Oops, it’s my birthday today too. ?,” Catherine wrote in the caption. Later, the actress returned to Instagram to post a funny video of the pair enjoying their shared birthday by eating cake and dancing in a lounge together.
The happy couple — who are parents to two kids, son Dylan, 18, and daughter Carys, 15, together — married in November 2000. In May 2013, Catherine and Michael briefly split to “take some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage,” but by November 2014 the A-List couple had reconciled and continue to live together with their children today.
After getting back together, Catherine and Michael’s marriage is now stronger than ever and the Catherine wants everyone to know it. In a previous interview with The Mirror, she said that she’s not going to apologize anymore for having such a great relationship and a thriving acting career.

“One thing I’m not is humble anymore,” Catherine explained. “I’m sick of being humble. I really am. ‘So sorry I’m rich. So sorry I’m married to a movie star. So sorry I’m not so bad looking.’ No sorrys. Enough. All that is important to me now is my work.” And, thankfully, Michael agrees! “She earned it,” he previously told E! News when asked about his wife’s success. They make the perfect couple!
