Catherine Zeta-Jones Shares Makeup-Free Selfie in Her Pajamas

Hollywood star Catherine Zeta-Jones has no problem showing the world another side of her at times, and she did that again recently by sharing a makeup-free selfie.

The 50-year-old took to Instagram on Sunday, December 1, to post a selfie with no makeup at all. “The Pajama Game. Happy Sunday! A blatant plug for my Casa Zeta-Jones Pajamas,” the actress wrote alongside the photo. Take a look at it below!

People were of course loving the bare look, as they took to the comments section to respond. “Love the color! And you are looking beautiful as always!” one fan said. Another added, “Ok, but why don’t I look this good without makeup?” It should come as no surprise to see the Chicago star being quite open — she once made sure to let all know how proud she is of all she has.

“One thing I’m not is humble anymore,” Catherine told The Mirror. “I’m sick of being humble. I really am. ‘So sorry I’m rich. So sorry I’m married to a movie star. So sorry I’m not so bad looking.’ No sorrys. Enough. All that is important to me now is my work.”

The Oscar winner has been married to Michael Douglas, 75, since 2000. And while the actor is 25 years older than his wife, he certainly does not have a problem with it at all. “Having a younger bride makes me feel good on one side, and I got the old man [father Kirk Douglas, 102] on the other side with still a full head of hair,” the Wall Street star joked during a October 10 episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “So it’s all good, you know, you can’t be an idiot about it.”

The happy couple also share two kids — son Dylan, 19, and daughter Carys, 16 — but they’re quite excited to have some time to themselves now that their not-so-little ones are out of the house. “You spend a lot of time talking about your kids, and all of a sudden … and then we got over that very quickly!” Michael told Closer Weekly and other reporters on October 11.

“And now we’re like, ‘wow, we can do anything in our schedules without … obviously the holiday stuff.’ But other than that during the week and everything. So we’re taking full advantage of that, seeing a lot of shows and traveling a lot.”
