Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta-Jones Reunite For New Year’s Trip To Canada!

Do we see a 2014 reconciliation in their future?

Four months after Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones announced that they were on a break, the pair appears to have rung in the new year as one big happy family!

The actor posted a photo on his Facebook account of him, Zeta-Jones, and the couple’s two children Dylan, 13, and Carys, 10, on top of a snow-topped mountain.

The caption read, “Happy New Year from Quebec, Canada… where it is minus 10F.”

Douglas also shared a second snapshot of him posing with the kids as they prepared to tackle the slope.

The couple of 14 years were recently spotted together in New York, both wearing their wedding bands, and Douglas has hinted at a possible reconciliation in a few interviews.

In a GQ article last month, the actor shared that he hopes “to resolve my marriage in a positive fashion,” and revealed that things were on the “up and up” between the couple during an appearance on “The Jay Leno Show.”

Douglas and Zeta-Jones have weathered their fair share of ups and downs in their 13-year marriage, including serious illnesses on both ends.

Zeta-Jones admitted to suffering from Bipolar II disorder, a mood disorder, in 2011 after checking herself into a treatment facility. She sought further treatment in April of 2013 for the illness.

In 2010, Douglas was diagnosed with stage IV tongue cancer and underwent chemotherapy and radiation treatment to combat it.

Throughout both health scares, Douglas and Zeta-Jones remained by each other's sides.
