Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones Have a Beautiful Blended Family! Meet Their 3 Kids

They may be one of Hollywood’s strongest power couples, but Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are nothing without their children! The longtime pair couldn’t be more proud of Cameron Douglas, Dylan Douglas and Carys Douglas.

The Basic Instinct actor became a dad in 1978 when he welcomed his eldest son, Cameron. At the time, Michael was married to his first wife, Diandra Luker, whom he tied the knot with in 1977. The former pair called it quits by 1995 and their divorce was finalized in 2000.

That same year, Michael moved on with his second wife, Catherine. The Kominsky Method actor and the Entrapment actress tied the knot in 2000 and expanded the hunk’s family when son Dylan came along that August. Three years later, Michael and Catherine welcomed their youngest daughter, Carys, in 2003.

The Falling Down star has a lot to be proud of when it comes to his iconic career, but Michael once dished that his wife and children are his greatest accomplishment.

“Meeting Catherine has been an extraordinarily important part, my kids, my family has been a really important part,” he exclusively shared with Closer in September 2019. “I’ve been very fortunate because of being a producer, actor [and] making pretty good choices in my career.”

Considering Michael is one of Hollywood’s most critically-acclaimed stars, he’s over the moon about watching Cameron, Dylan and Carys follow in his successful showbiz footsteps. In fact, he said working alongside his little ones makes the long hours and time away from home all worth it.

“The fact that all of them want to be actors and are good actors makes it all the more enjoyable,” the doting dad gushed on Hoda Kotb‘s SiriusXM radio show. “They understand the whole system and have the sense of a third generation.”

The Fatal Attraction star also noted his older age has given him a new perspective on what’s important in life. “The joy of my marriage with Catherine and having our children at a point in my life when my career had developed allowed me much more time to enjoy my family,” he explained to the Today host.
